Greenland Trekking Expedition - July 9 to 19, 2021
Lusting for a chance to experience true remoteness? We have organized a trekking expedition for Greenland for July 10-25. Highlights include visiting a small Inuit hunting community, views of the Denmark Strait, vistas of glacier snouts, and calving glaciers in the Sermiligaq Fjord. The trip is based out of Kulusuk, Greenland, a settlement of 267 people in the Sermersooq municipality in southeastern Greenland, located on an island of the same name. Kusuluk has daily direct flights to Reykjavik, Iceland. The trekking will be supported by boat, but will be very rugged due to the complete absence of any formal trails. There will be no technical climbing, but there will be river fords, straight forward scrambling and some glacier travel. This is a unique opportunity to visit a very remote location that is virtually untouched by tourism. Contact Steve Fedyna at firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
